HMB Dosing and Delivery Timing

The recommended dosage of myHMB (otherwise known as Calcium HMB) is three grams per day for average-size individuals. Research has shown that a more precise dosage of 38 mg of CaHMB per kg, or 17 mg of CaHMB per pound of body weight, each day is optimal (see chart for simplified dosage scale, Strength and Muscle Building: 2000: Gallagher). The daily dosage should be divided into two or three equal servings and taken throughout the day.

For best results, we recommend taking one daily serving of myHMB an hour before exercise or, if you are unable to take myHMB prior to exercise, take a dose immediately after your workout or training session.
